Addressing the needs of the global apparel industry brought on by the ending of the quota system and a new operating environment, Prime Source will be held in Hong Kong from 29 – 31 March 2006.

The event endorsed by the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA) and the United States Association of Importers of Textile & Apparel (USA-ITA), the inaugural edition of Prime Source will be held at AsiaWorld-Expo, the exhibition facility next to the Hong Kong International Airport.

Comprising a high-level forum and a concurrent trade show, Prime Source is designed to bring together the industry's movers and shakers as they face both the exciting possibilities as well as uncertain challenges of global free trade.

The International Apparel Forum is where Chief Executives, Presidents and Directors from apparel brand owners, retailers and importers will get to meet apparel contract manufacturers and have direct contact with ministerial-level government representatives and policy-makers of apparel exporting and importing countries. Also participating will be senior officials from major international institutions, leading members of supporting industries such as banking, logistics and technology, as well as renowned industry analysts and consultants.

The Prime Source trade show is a strategic apparel sourcing platform involving all suppliers to the industry as exhibitors, focused on offering complete purchasing solutions, including apparel manufacturing capabilities and capacity, to worldwide apparel buyers.
